2 nights at the Sandy Tents camp in Merzouga, was part of a 15 night trip organized by Luxury Tours Morocco. There are many camps in the area, but I would highly recommend this one for several reasons. First, it is deeper in the dunes than other camps, so you are away from all other camps, which makes the experience better. Second, even though they are tents, the comforts are more like a hotel room, with air conditioning, heating, en suite bathrooms, hot shower. Each has a large window with views to either sunset or sunrise. But most importantly, I would highly recommend Sandy Tents because of the wonderful staff who made the experience phenomenal. Especially of note, is Mustafa, who went beyond, to make our experience fantastic.
