YOUR ITINERARY
Day 01Â MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE – DADES
Meeting with the guide, right after breakfast, in the hotel where you stay. You’ll start your trip in the direction of the High Atlas which takes you through the step of Tizi’n pass (2,260 m.), along a mountain road full of small villages and waterfalls. Tiz’n Tichka in the local language means “Pass of the pastures” and the route is particularly spectacular, with a landscape that changes constantly and a succession of colours that make it even more spectacular along the way. A stop for a mint tea gives you the opportunity to savour the beauty of the surroundings, before arriving at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, where we stop for lunch. This village built entirely in pisè, namely straw and mud, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is also very appreciated by Hollywood who chose it as the set for such films as Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, The Legionnaire, The Sheltering Sky and many more. We then proceed to Ouarzazate and through the valley of the roses and the valley of a thousand Kasbah, then up to Dades.
Accommodation: Xaluca Dades
Meal Plan: Dinner (drinks not included)

Day 02Â DADES – TODRA – DADES
After breakfast, there is a chance to take a walk through the gorge of Dades, we will then take the car and travel the road of a thousand Kasbah, through the village of Tinerhir with its Jewish quarter. A walking tour in the gorges will allow you to discover the beauty of the surrounding landscapes, before continuing your journey through the desert of Merzouga via Rissani and Erfoud. You arrive in time to leave the car and go by camel to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, to spend the night in a Berber tent in a well-equipped camp where you consume a typical Tuareg dinner, to the rhythm of drums and Berber songs. With a bit of luck, if weather conditions permit you will be able to see the Milky Way in the sky. The following day, the camel will wake you up in time to watch the sunrise from the top of the dunes, near the border with Algeria. Then back to the camps on the camels. You’ll spend the night in our Luxury desert camps.
Accommodation: Sahara Luxury Camps
Meal Plan: Breakfast & Dinner (drinks not included)
Day 03Â DESERT EXPERIENCE
After breakfast on sunrise like Nomads do, we will head to the village of Kamlia, famous for its inhabitants from black Africa and their music. This village is also famous for the festival of music and dance that takes place every year during the first week of August. From here you will go to see the lake Dayet Srji with its pink flamingos. You will return then to Rissani where we will eat a Berber pizza for lunch with its 44 spices with a Tuareg family. You will get to see the local traditions and customs and you will see the items that arrive here with the caravans. Rissani was once the economic capital of Morocco and the center of the caravans leaving for the desert. You will then we will visit the Kasbah of this town before returning to the hotel to relax before taking the camels for a trek into the dunes. After a camel trek of about an hour and a half you will arrive at the Berber tents where you will watch the sunset and spend the night. Here the local guide will prepare for you a traditional dinner and then you can take a walk up the big dunes of 300m to see the stars, shooting stars, and if you are lucky even the Milky Way. Truly amazing!
Accommodation: Sahara Luxury Camps
Meal Plan: Breakfast & Dinner (drinks not included)

Day 04Â MERZOUGA – IFRAN – FES
Few moments in life compare to waking in the desert, just before the sun lights up the expanse of a desert sky. Coffee and cake will be served on your own private sand dune. Expect goose bumps. Departure to Er Rachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges that provide a rocky passage south through the Tunnel du LĂ©gionnaire (built by the French colony in 1928). To the south, the valley widens and feature Esa dance canopy of palms wedged between ancient, striated cliffs, dating back to the Jurassic period. Into Tizin-n- Tichka Talhemt Village. Lunch at Midelt. Continue to Fes via Ifrane (the quaint ‘Swiss/Moroccan Village’ in the mountains) stopping for coffee and delect able pastries. On through the Mid Atlas Mountains to arrive to Fes, and ending your trip.
